# Echo on WhatsApp and Telegram

> Message Echo Agent from WhatsApp or Telegram: ask about your meetings, send voice notes, photos and documents, and get files back.

You can reach Echo Agent from WhatsApp or Telegram, the same way you'd message a colleague. It's handy between meetings, on the move, or when your laptop is closed. Echo answers with what it knows from your meetings, your calendar and the web, and it can send you files.

> [!NOTE]
>
> WhatsApp and Telegram access is by invitation. Ask your Echo administrator for a one-time connect code. If you don't have one, contact Skillflo.

## Connect

**1. Get a connect code**

Your Echo administrator sends you a one-time `/connect` message. It works once, and only for about ten minutes, so use it straight away.

**2. Send it to Echo**

On Telegram, open [@echo\_agents\_bot](https://t.me/echo_agents_bot) and send the `/connect` message. On WhatsApp, send it to Echo's WhatsApp number, which comes with your invitation.

**3. Link your Echo account**

Echo replies with **Connect your Echo account** and a link. Open it and sign in with the same account you use in the Echo app. This links your meetings, calendar context and, if you use it, Skillflo Hire.

**4. Start chatting**

Send your request. If you sent one before linking, send it again.

Until you're connected, Echo doesn't answer: the bot only says it's private and asks for a connect code.

## What you can ask

Anything you'd ask Echo Agent on your computer, in a message:

* "What did Maya say about the security review?"
* "Prep me for my 2pm call."
* "Draft a follow-up to Tom about the shortlist."
* "Remind me tomorrow at 9 to send the Northstar proposal."

You can also send:

* Voice notes: talk through a request while you walk; Echo works from what you say.
* Photos: a whiteboard, a business card, a page of handwritten notes.
* Documents: a job description, a CV, a supplier's PDF.

When the answer is a document, such as a proposal, a formatted CV or an Excel shortlist, Echo sends a download link in the chat.

## Commands

Type these as a message:

| Command | What it does |
| - | - |
| `/help` | Shows what Echo can do here |
| `/stop` | Cancels what Echo is working on |
| `/restart` | Starts the current task over |
| `/queue` followed by a request | Runs the request as a separate task |
| `/new` | Clears the conversation history; your files stay |
| `/approve` or `/reject` followed by the ID | Approves or rejects an action Echo asked about |
| `/model` | Shows which AI model Echo is using |

## Approving actions

When Echo wants to act in an app you connected, such as sending an email from a Gmail plugin, it describes the exact action and gives you an ID. Reply with `/approve` and the ID to let it go ahead once, or `/reject` and the ID to stop it. Nothing happens until you answer.

## Good to know

* WhatsApp and Telegram chats stay in those apps. They don't appear in Echo Agent on your computer or phone, but Echo uses the same meetings and memory everywhere.
* Answers are written for a chat window, so Echo uses short lists instead of tables.
* Your own Word CV template works in Echo Agent on desktop. In WhatsApp and Telegram, formatted CVs use the standard template.
* Messages you send here also pass through WhatsApp or Telegram, under their own terms.
* WhatsApp and Telegram don't record meetings. To capture a meeting, use the desktop or phone app.
