# Release status

> Which documented changes are available now, and which still depend on a desktop, mobile or billing release.

The public Mac and Windows download feeds both offer desktop 0.1.87, published October 23, 2026. That release includes Set up with Echo, inline approvals, Echo record edits and the AI usage display.

Echo's online services and installed apps can update separately. A service can be live while the controls needed to use it are still awaiting an app release. A release pending note means the described feature is being prepared and may not be in the current public download. Updating to the current public app does not guarantee access to a pending feature.

For desktop, check your version in **Settings › About**. For phone apps, use the App Store or Google Play release offered to your account. There is no promised public release date for the pending changes above.
