Open a meeting’s Precall Brief to prepare; Join + start opens its call and starts setup. My Tasks shows commitments you still owe. You can open the full list or hide its Home strip with Show My Tasks on Home in Settings › Account & workspace. See My Tasks.

Suggested work

Release pending — the Home Suggestions interface below is awaiting desktop release as of October 27, 2026. Its online service is deployed. Your current public app may show an earlier suggestion layout or none of these controls. See Release status.
The upcoming Home shows Echo can help with: when it has suggested work or activity to show. Suggestions come from your own Meetings, such as preparing a follow-up or a document supported by what was discussed. Ask Echo chats do not supply evidence for generating these Suggestions. The list updates automatically as Meeting evidence changes. It shows five Suggestions before you expand the rest. No supported work is a valid result; an empty section stays hidden.

Start a Suggestion

  1. Open a Suggestion to read its explanation and expiry.
  2. Select Start. Echo opens an editable request in Echo Agent.
  3. Review and send the request to begin work. Opening it alone does not start anything.
Existing drafts are preserved. A Suggestion does not grant permission to send a message, use a connected app or schedule work; those actions still need their usual approvals.

Dismiss work and check activity

Use a Suggestion’s … menu to dismiss it or mark it already handled. Accepted work has its own activity; dismissing that card hides it without cancelling its conversation. You can return to the conversation in Echo Agent. A running or finished agent turn is not proof that the promised file or result was delivered. Open the conversation and check the actual result. Automatic delivery-based completion is still pending, so activity can remain unresolved after an answer arrives.

If updates pause

When there are existing items, a warning can explain a failed refresh or a pause and its next retry time. Echo keeps the saved Suggestions and retries automatically; there is no manual refresh button. You can dismiss the warning without stopping recovery. My Tasks and your calendar remain separate from Suggestions.
