Current default Meeting Types start with Questions to ask, FAQ Answers and Checklist off, even when they contain saved checklist topics. Preserved or customized types keep their saved settings. Transcription, your notes page, Ask Echo and the AI Notes work without any of it. Live Assist and live Claim Check are disabled and hidden in desktop 0.1.87; older versions may still show them. Existing Claim Checks remain available in saved meetings.

What each part does
Questions to ask
Drafts three to five questions on the brief page before the meeting. You edit them, and during the call Echo grades each one against what the other person says. A question turns green for a good answer, yellow for a partial one and red for a weak one; partial and weak answers come with a follow-up to ask. A grade always comes with the quote it’s based on, and a question nobody answered stays grey rather than turning red. The grades are saved with the meeting. See Prepare with a Precall Brief.Checklist
Lists the topics you want the meeting to cover, such as budget, timeline and decision makers. You write the items once as Rubric items on the Meeting Type, and can adjust them for a single meeting in setup. During the meeting, open Checklist in the Nub or meeting window, expand an item, then select Summarize evidence to check it. Opening an item only reveals its existing evidence. Refresh evidence checks for newer information. Item status lights show not checked yet (hollow gray), not discussed (solid gray), partly covered (amber), or covered (green). Hover over a light to read its state. Automatic updates remain disabled while they are being evaluated. After the meeting, Echo reconciles every item against the full transcript.FAQ Answers
Holds question-and-answer pairs you’ve reviewed, such as the client’s approved answers on pay, hybrid work or the team. Switch FAQ Answers on, then select Import Q/A document with a TXT, Markdown, PDF or Word (.docx) file (up to 100 entries). When one of those questions comes up, Echo shows your saved answer word for word. It doesn’t write or rephrase the answer. If you don’t see Summarize evidence, update Echo to the latest version.
